Hyatt Fair Lakes: Erica & Lincoln

Erica & Lincoln found out about us because they happened to be friends (and friends of friends) of several of our past couples.  When they announced their engagement they were “ambushed” with recommendations to use us.  It still amazes me that in an area as densely populated as DC, we’re still all so connected!  It also further affirms to me that our clients are AWESOME because they keep referring us to their insanely cool friends and we keep getting to work with such spectacular people week in and week out.  I love it!

Take a peek at all the sweet personal details that Erica and Lincoln filled their Hyatt Fair Lakes wedding with last summer.

Both Erica and Lincoln really love (like, seriously adore!) their friends adn family so they wanted to do a “First Look” to get all their photos out of the way before the wedding happened so they could spend more time partying.  Also, they got a chance to have some time just for themselves—and their little pup!  Regan, of course, made sure he was appropriately outfitted in his very own doggie tux.

I just love how elegant these two are.  Classic!

From classic to MOD!  Erica & Lincoln loved the outdoors but also wanted to celebrate the unique architecture within the Hyatt Fair Lakes so we also had some fun inside.

Beautifully romantic touches for the ceremony: A thank you to friends and family, a custom guest signature book of their engagement, a beautifully appointed aisle with pink rose petals, and the beautiful message of “pick a seat not a side”.  Perfect!

(I always enjoy seeing the groom get choked up when he watches his bride walk toward him!  Que the “awww” moment!)

Erica’s rings are stunning, but Lincoln’s ring is perhaps the swankiest groom’s ring I’ve seen in a while.  I love it!

Erica & Lincoln wasted no time getting down to the true business of the day: PARTYING!

They even took advantage of our Photo Corner add on.  Their friends kept us laughing all night with their antics.

At the end of the night we were getting ready to slip out and I noticed someone had stuck this note on top of Erica’s cake at her sweetheart table.  I died laughing!  Everyone needs goofy friends like this!
